1989 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 300 SE review from Switzerland
"Comfortable, powerful, but expensive to maintain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Catalyst needed to be replaced to meet swiss norms.
Engine failed to start due to problem at about 190000 km.
Lots of small pieces replaced, mostly done during services.
General comments?
Very comfortable.
Lots of space for 4 tall passengers.
Expensive to repair and service.
Consumes a lot of fuel for today's standard.
