1979 Mercedes-Benz SL review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Hello to All,
I'm looking at a 1979 SL 450 MB which has 79000 miles and they are asking $9900.00. What should I be aware of before purchasing this vechile. I've read some comments on idling, over heating, oil pressure, stalling at stop lights after driving for a point of time. Can someone who has owned his car for sometime give me some pointer and a list of concerns to be aware before purchasing. Also, what a good price ponit for purchasing this car. It's overall appears looks good. The top looks new. My meachinc said the tranmission shifts smooth probably rebulit. Some rust in the rear deck lid under the convertbile lid. Any help would be greatly appericated.
