Nothing has gone wrong with this fine automobile. Only the regular oil changes and such; the car is still brand new.
I have been waiting 1.5 years for the purchase of my breath-taking, devastatingly fast supercar. I chose the SLR after driving every new supercar available. (No, I did not test the Veyron, which I find appalling). I found the SLR to be superior in terms of comfort, engine noise, performance and godliness. It is a true long distance car, with race car tendencies.
I have never been beaten in a race. It surpasses all of my expectations of what a great supper should be. I have owned Ferrari and Aston, but this is far superior to all of them. It is a marvel of speed, sound and beauty.
It shall always sit between my original Gullwing 300SL, and my CLK GTR.
You spend almost all the "review" to talk about the other cars you "have" and very little to say anything of interest about such a wonderful car as is the SLR.
By the way, I don't find it is a fantastic car because of the comparisons, but because of what it is able to accomplish. And in such a short time you have already changed oil??? Less than a year and only 5000 miles and you have done the "regular services"???
Maybe once in a year but... It sounds very fishy your review... Sorry.
