Requested garage to change the pollen filter. I was told that to remove it was a simple task, to replace it would facilitate the removal of most of the dashboard. My workshop contacted the main dealer for advice, this is how they were able to give me this info, they were also told that if filter was taken out, don't bother to replace. Very strange sort of advice.
Under centre console, between inch metal bar, you will find a plastic strip slide to remove. You will see about an inch gap to remove pollen filter. Don't worry if filter breaks up, remove it all. To replace the filter, it comes with a bend join in the middle. I cut mine in two, slide one piece in first, then the next and replace the cover complete.
