Electric Windows are a little bit tempermental when its raining and seem to have a mind of their own.
This van is a very good multipurpose vehicle, and very reliable.
Not too sure about the strength of the plastic wings.
Try putting some real mileage on your Vito & then come back & comment. From my experience it won't be favourable.
I've done 15,000 miles at 9 months, and am very pleased with most aspects of my 109. The drive is almost car-like with reasonable power. Fuel consumption is about 38 mpg. It's unlikely anyone will get more than this as I am a very 'light footed', careful driver. Mine is also my car, so it's very well looked after and looks great with roof bars and spoked alloy wheels. I have to say though that it needed a new clutch a few weeks ago, but this was done under the warranty and I am very pleased with it now. The only other problem was that the cab roof lining became water stained and this was also renewed under warranty.
My vito has 82000 miles is a 54 plate and has had many faults auto gearbox has been replaced
gear selector has been replaced
instrument panel has been replaced
these were due to electrcal faults
steering wheel replaced due to foam breaking up inside
at present it is back in mercedes getting new engine due to turbo failing
and I forgot to add the steering rack also replaced
luckily it is all on warranty soon as warranty is up I will go back to vw for next vehicle.
