"C..p van"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Got the van in 'Dec 05', after about a month 2nd gear kept crunching took it in and was told cables to gearbox was loose from gear stick. so they did what every, but it still crunched so was told had to have a new gearbox which was not happy with seeing it was only then would have been two months old.

So got new box in and noise coming up from clutch cable so back in to repair that.

Also both side doors and rear doors would not lock on remote key so that was all reprogramed, working for now.

And now rear doors leak when rains.

So don't be a fool stay well away from vito's.

General comments?

Don't buy a vito, stay well away.

So they fixed it under warranty without mucking you around? I think it was a bit harsh to warn people to stay away because you had a couple of faults that look to have been resolved without drama.

Mercedes Vito CDI 109 05. Where to start? Four years old now, let's see.

05 thought I'd buy a Merc so as I wouldn't have to worry about repairs etc. I have had 2 new rear springs, driver window mechanism, prop shaft, front wheels stabilisers (not sure of the correct part? but practically both wheels have been rebuilt!) various other parts interior. Paintwork rusting badly! (is it covered... of course not!!)

I now require a new passenger seat lever mechanism (probably can't get one and will have to buy a seat!)

This vehicle hasn't been abused or misused, it's just a heap of c@*p! No after sales from the dealer or Mercedes either! I've spent a fortune on this and I wouldn't wish this vehicle on anyone! DON'T BUY ONE, they are rubbish!!!
