Weather seals have cracked, carpet discolored.
A little slow on acceleration though.
Beautiful body style, love the chrome bumper and trim.
Interior is roomy and comfortable.
I bought my silver 230ce-'83/185000km last year. It is with manual 4-gear, which gives me a perfect driving feeling, just as I had hoped for, and it was and is in fine shape. I looove the feeling it gives when I roll windows down, sunroof back and car out into the road.
Had many "looks over shoulder" after me. People are divided into two groups - "mild smilers" and "offended lookers".
This year - like last year - I am going walking in the North of Sweden. And I'll be driving from Copenhagen -> Stockholm -> Northern Sweden -> Oslo -> Copenhagen. Around 4000km. I'm looking very much forward to it.
Last year was a blast. Going the 600km to Stockholm is like flying - done it several times now.
Even the Swedes with their very low car-prices = many large Volvos, give it room in the traffic.
"Bought" the lady - after Danish conditions - very cheap from a college who not only showed up to have one, but also wanted to sell it to ME.
New clutch, some work on the brakes and a little rust is all it had needed till now.
I'm euphorically in LOOOVE :-) ) And all my female friends get this soft look in their eyes and voices when driving in it...
