"This car is a wonderful first step if you are a young adult living on your own"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Replaced alternator and battery at 178,000 miles.

Ball joints replaced at 160,000.

General comments?

This car was given to me by my father when I was in high school. I didn't like it to begin with due to the lack of acceleration, but it quickly grew on me.

Other than the ball joints being replaced (partially a product of hitting a curb too hard) the alternator was the very first engine component to go ever at 178,000.

My 300D actually starts well in cold weather even when I don't plug it in. It is difficult to get it stuck in the snow.

I have found sixteen inch migla migla silver (not chrome) rims for the car that make it look more like a mercedes than the magnesium alloys it comes with and I have also added a sound system.

I am 23 years of age and this car is my oldest and most reliable car as well as the most luxurious. I plan to chase 1,000,000 miles as I will probably never give up this car barring a wreck.
