The transmission slips when it wants to it did it once on a wet surface it could have been the 4MATIC from preventing the car from sliding, but in other ways the car is no problems except for the transmisson I had the transmission checked at 151,900 miles and there was something loose on the mount. the interior is perfect no rips no wear no nothing except for the drivers door the side (SRS) AIRBAG panel is starting to come loose causing the drivers door handle to break so I just shut the door by rolling down the window and closing it from there. I had a special fuel converter put in the car to switch it from diesel to gas theres a switch that was put in the trunk for that and there is two diffrent tanks for the fuel one of them is diesel the other is regular gas they are marked so I know which ones they are. but beside those problems there are no other faults wit the car.
I love the ride and handling its smooth and quiet and crisp you can't hear anything outside and the seat-belt sensors are the best thing ever in these cars they know when ur gonna crash or when you slam your brakes in case of accident they hold you back in the seat and the seats protect you along with the seat-belts but this is the best car I ever drove its better than my 1988 jaguar XJ40.
I have never heard of any car that runs on both gas and diesel. Can the original poster tell us about the system.
The system was done my neighbor; he's a Mercedes mechanic and he works for Mercedes. Also it was very different task to complete; we took apart the whole rear and made the trunk a bit bigger. We also changed the fuel filters in the system, added a switch to change tanks, and a converter was added. Then a few tubes were added running from the tanks to the engine, but me and my neigbor call it the Mercedes bio-engine.
There's not much I can explain on this, but it's very very hard to do and you must have your knowledge on Mercedes Benzes in order to this task.
It's a pretty cool system though; I use the diesel more than I use the gas.
