1987 Mercury Cougar 20th edition review from North America
"If you can find one just get in it and drive away. It's the most problem free sports luxury coupe"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Glove box does not close.
If I let the car sit a whole day the battery dies out.
General comments?
The high luxury sports coupe of the 80's.
These are one of the best Cougar's that Ford has ever made with the 5.0 302 V8. It was very well designed back then compared to the one in the 90's. This one is fully loaded with a sun roof, Bose sound, heated leather seats with power everything, 16 inch wheels with the 20th anniversary edition package and the suspension that goes with it. This car is top of the line and fun to drive. This car is problem free. Best Cougar I ever had.
