Front rotors and brakes needed to be turned down and replaced.
The guts in he rear end had to be changed.
The passenger side axel was bent.
Rear bearings also had to be replaced.
Tail, signal and back up lights had to be rewired.
Many things were wrong with the car considering it was only bought for $400 Canadian.
I have made a few modifications to the car.
Since ownership I have had the body redone and painted. I elected not to go original, decided on 97' prowler purple.
Added mag wheels and circular chrome mirrors.
A hood scoop was a must, also added chrome to the hood off of a 61' Buick.
This summer I plan to tint the windows and add two white stripes on the hood. Also will have the chance to put the chrome duel exhaust on that I purchased last year.
Over all is an excellent car. I just hate the gas mileage you get with.
Hey man I'm planning on buying a 78 cougar myself and I was just wondering if you could answer a couple of questions I had. mostly to do with gas mileage and that sort of thing. any way if you read this could you email me at a_f_army@hotmail.com
