1993 Mercury Cougar XR-7 review from North America
"Very reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Headlight covers are made of plastic and turn yellow. Not very bright. Replaced Head Gasket at 98000 miles. Replaced Headlight switch. (Was on the recall list).
General comments?
Very reliable, comfortable, roomy and has the power to get out of tight spots. One of the best cars I have ever owned in the last 32 years. Too bad they changed the style completely instead of improving the existing style.
