Steering wheel locks up and engine light comes on when you go through a puddle more than 1" deep.
Interior and exterior lights dim while driving.
Replaced front wheel bearings three times in 6 months.
Passenger side mirror is falling off for no reason.
Sometimes the car won't start, then I shut off my radio and wait about 10 seconds and it will start.
I need at least 2 tires every year at $150 each.
It makes this horribly loud humming sound only when it's cold.
Sometimes the radio just shuts off.
Console where radio is gets hot to touch and gives off heat.
Cup holder is crap.
Trunk shuts before I even get to it.
Driver window makes a squealing noise.
The car vibrates and pulls not matter how many times I get it aligned or fixed.
The seat belts are constantly getting stuck (and I have 2 nieces in car seats that like to go with me)
Dash board tray popped off.
I love to look at this car, but HATE to drive it. I treat this car like a child. I have put well over $3000 in repairs. I am a college studen and cannot afford this. That is why I bought a new car!!
If anyone else has that humming problem please let me know because I have been to 3 mechanics and they can't figure out what it is or how to fix it. nmc18_99@yahoo.com
1st Comment, it sounds like you are having problems with a cheap aftermarket waterpump, or perhaps there is a crack in the case of your water pump, this can be fixed using ford oem parts.
2nd comment, If your interior and exterior lights dim while driving perhaps you should either one turn off your amp and subs, and or get a new alternator.
3rd comment, if you have to replace your front wheel bearings its pobable due to no dust caps being on the wheels or the car has been salvaged and most likely the cause is a flood damage vehicle, you should get a car fax report before you purchase a vehicle.
4th comment, a side mirror does not fall off for no initial reason, perhaps the car was in a automotive accident and you failed to obtain a car fax report or you have not taken the time to see what damage is causing the side mirror to fall off it.
5th comment, if your stereo is the reason your car will not start perhaps you should have a mechanic besides your current mechanic check out the problem since he or she cannot odviously fix the humming problem which is really either a broken vaccume hose, cold start cylinoid or a defective intake manifold.
6th comment, if the car is burning through tires every 6 months there probably has been a horrible automotive accident which has bent the frame. and if the mechanic that is working on your car is not certified mechanic to be able to do an alignment, you should look into having an alignment performed by a professional not your uncle down at the bar.
7th comment, sometimes the radio just shuts off, hm perhaps the remote wire or the power wire has faulty insulation or your stereo is just a piece of junk, which has nothing to do with the vehicles performance, the stereo is a luxery assessory, if more people didn't worry about the stereo so much it could reduce automotive collisions by atleast 10 per day nation wide.
8th comment, if the console is getting hot where the stereo is why don't you buy a aftermarket stereo from walmart for $49 dollars.
9th comment, if the cup holder is crap why don't you get some super glue and glue in the rubber piece anchoring it to the console.
10th comment, if your drivers window squeals, instead of just letting the problem get worse, why don't you just see what is really going off, take the door panel off brother.
11th comment, if the seat belts are getting stuck, try cleaning the sockets of the seat belts out of all your mcdonalds crumbs and fries, or maybe you should just get a car fax report and find out that you are about to purchase a lemon before hand?
