1991 Mercury Grand Marquis LS review from North America
"Nice ride, roomy, reliable, and good in an accident."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil pan has rusted through.
Both front power window motors quit working at about 190000 km.
Both front door locks quit working.
General comments?
This is a big luxury car and as such it still gets decent mileage on the highway. I live in northern Canada and the roads are not the best, yet it still rides quiet and smooth. Incidentally, I was recently rear-ended by a Chev Lumina which fit between the quarter panels. I sustained approx. $2000.00 in damages and the insurance co. is repairing it. For it's comfort level and how it takes a hit, I would recommend this model to anyone.
