2002 Mercury Mountaineer review from North America
"Buyer beware. Looks are deceiving."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I got this car last June (07) and it has been an absolute nightmare. It seems I am always sinking money into it. It looks rich, but it also requires you to be rich to keep it running because it's one thing after another. I do not have the time to list everything right now, but buyer beware on this piece of junk. I am already looking to trade it in and am going to lose money, but it's going on 90,000 and I hate to see what may happen to it after 100,000. Also, the seats are really uncomfortable on long drives. I drive a lot and have developed an achey back which I never had before.
I am not a complainer at all, so for me to say all of this is a big deal. I try very hard to look at the positive aspect of life, but positive things on this vehicle are really hard to find.Hmmm... I love my sunroof! :o)
