1998 Mercury Mystique Mercury 98 ES review from North America

The Mercury 98 Mystique I have is nothing but tears for me. I bought this car with the extended warranty and every time I brought it in everything else happened. I replace 15 sensors. Now the car has been out of warranty 2 months. Here is the amazing part the air intake valve needed replacement, the oxygen sensor is bad and today my car overheated so bad. It is now parked in front of a mechanic's shop. I lost all antifreeze and a smelly rubber and rattling came from under. I pray it is not the head gasket like I have read here. I cannot afford it. Still owe 4,000 on this car and believe this in 1999 at wonderful Elmhurst Ford I paid close to 17,000 for this car. I was never taken for such a ride in my life. Being a woman they saw me coming. I am so upset with Mercury and Ford, and their products. I am just praying to God that something good will come out of this one. All I have is problems with this car., and I now know why they call it the Mercury Mistake. That is all it is. Mercury should help the people who really got burned on this car and I wish someone would help me. I truly wish for a miracle and wish this car was paid off so I could un load it. I will tell you again when I find out what the problem is with this car, but it seems like nothing but fan noises, sensors, power windows, air intake valves and many recalls. If you decide to buy one of these- email me first I will send you copies of the repair work and money I have forked on this car. Now grant it it only has 6l,000 miles on it...
