1992 Mercury Topaz XR5 review from North America
"Very fast but not reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission trouble, a lot of leakage problems.
Motor mounts break a lot causing harm to the transmisson.
Wire fused out underneath the dashboard costing 300 bucks.
General comments?
Very good and very sweet looking car. VERY VERY fast!!! A lot of people underestimate the Tempo and the Topaz and they have never driven one to know the power they really have.
Not reliable at all though. I dn't know if I would reccommend it. Performance is the best asset of this car.
