1996 Mercury Tracer trio review from North America
"Dependable Grocery Getter Wagon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The transmission started go out, would shift into any gear and slipped like crazy.
I didn't have the money to get it replaced and on suggestion of a friend ,we
tried Lucas transmission additive.I'm not much on miracle additives , but I tried it. Since putting it in the transmission has not failed to shift or go into gear. GREAT STUFF.
General comments?
This is a wonderful basic little car. It handles well and is very good on gas. It is just a bit too small for my tastes. That is probably why my wife drives it more than me. The little Merc
has good pick up and go and the A/C works great. This also is a wagon and come in useful many times. Great Car for anyone on a budget.
