"Long running"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I needed to change the struts a few times Radiator and heater core needed to be replaced

changed battery rack n pinion, Gas tank starting to leak.

General comments?

Who would have thought a car could go over 2k and still going strong.

Yes, I agree with your review. I own a 1993 Mercury Tracer also. I bought it 2 months ago and have not had any real problems with it except the heater core. I won't complain because this car has 236,000 miles on it and runs great.

It only uses a half of quart of oil between oil changes--amazing for a 12 year old car with 236K.

The interior and body are in great shape too.

It has lots of power for a 4 cyl, 1.9L engine yet cheap on gas, which is great considering the fact regular gas is over $2 a gallon now.

I'm glad you like your Tracer;I like mine also.
