1994 Mercury Villager LS review from North America
"-Good value, practical, wish had more Horsepower."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
-Exhaust manifold leak- dealer fix one side only; still leak on other.
-Rear AC went out; fixed relay circuit on control panel
-Gas vapor lock in high elevation/hot weather
-Front door intermittently locks, electrical short, did not bother fixing
-Sliding door squeaking; don't care fixing
-Sun visor broke; put harder board
-Brake lights intermittent out; loose contact at bulb ends
-Control panels went out; replace bulbs
-Front bumper lights out; left alone
-Break pedals squeak, left alone
-Automatic seat belt annoying- conflicts with sun visor, when visor moved to side)
-replace struts, shocks, belt tensioner, water pump, spark plug wires.
General comments?
-Overall, good car
-Enjoyed the comfortable & quite ride
-Reasonable maintenance cost
-GREAT SUBSTITUTE for a PICKUP Truck
-Have carried a many items inside: 4x4 panels, couches, desks, beds, long bookcases, mattresses, furnitures---
-VERY SPACIOUS AND PRACTICAL--especially with the seats being on rails and can easily move forward.
-Even the passenger seats recline forward or backward to allow long cargo to extend to the front passenger area!
-My second row captains chair easily comes off-- adding more space!!
-THIS VAN SAVE ME FROM BUYING A PICKUP TRUCK for an average household use...
-Great view from the driver side..
