1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 from North America - Comments

"The poor man's 911 twin turbo!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

4 new transmissions, all replaced under warranty.

Rear differential replaced under warranty.

Stronger transmission parts are now available.

General comments?

This car is seriously quick and handles like it's on rails.

Handles great in the rain and snow.

Killer looks, refined interior, awesome low end torque, little turbo lag.

One of the most well rounded sports cars ever made!

From what I understand, 3000 GT's start having serious problems over 100,000 miles. Transmission, clutch, radiator, turbos, cooling system, power stearing, and most of all brakes... but other than that, great cars...

Obviously that last person can't afford one (or spell for that matter!) I have a 93 vr4 and it has 109000 on the clock, it drives like a new car, as for any other problems, none really much worth saying- get a life matey.

I had a 1992 VR-4 that I bought new. Kept it 22 months... had 3 transmissions, 1 clutch, front rotors... blah. blah. blah. Dealer was a sorry excuse for service, so I sold it.

BTW: Wife has a 1993 Diamante with 105,000 miles that has been great since new.

What difference does it make whether another can spell or not, do you come on here to look at reviews, or correct people's spelling and grammar?
