1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 review from North America
"Great Car: AWD-Twin Turbo Stock"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer) replaced at 65k. That's it so far.
Also, the stock 18" chrome wheels started breaking-off (need to re-chrome).
General comments?
This car is seriously quick and handles like it's on rails.
At 3000rpm the VR4 launches like a "Stealth Fighter". Have owned all the rear wheel drive sports car on the streets, lights by lights. The performance is just amazing if you know what you doing.
Stock by stock, it will "SPANK" all in its class on the streets like the overrated.. Supra, Cobra, Corvette, 300ZX, 350z, Camaro, etc.
However, the car is not meant for passengers, especially in the back. Not enough room.
