A whole variety of electrical problems.
Suspension knocks.
Mitsubishi threw this car together with the intention of including every available gizmo at the time. The result is obesity.
It's fast and sure-footed in a straight line which makes it a good grand tourer.
Don't expect miracles in the flickability department - keep it on the motorway and leave the twisties to the WRX and EVO boys.
The dash and associated switch-gear is appalling quality for a car of this class. Tacky!
Moonshot gear ratios make you think you could be driving a 1.6 until the boost makes it's presence felt.
Never heard ANYONE (including the thousands of people frequenting the 3si.org site) that the dash looks tacky. Compared to that plastic toyish looking dash found in 'Vettes and especially that dog-ugly dash in Supras (like it belongs in a Civic and not a semi-exotic car), 3000GTs are WAY above par in the dash and interior department. The only thing they screwed up on is the defrost vents which crack very easily, but that is not a big deal.
