1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT Base review from North America
"Clean, genius, exotic"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I got the car it had high mileage and a bit of an oil leak, but that is what you expect in older cars over 100,000 miles. Along with the oil, one of the pistons wasn't firing correctly, but I got this fixed with some new gaskets and spark plugs and it runs great. The speakers were also blown, but they are easy to replace.
General comments?
It is a great car, there are not many left and they are hard to find at a good price. I was lucky, my car runs exceptionally well and you are really noticed in one. It still hugs the road and puts out reasonable power. The SOHC is a great motor if you want the gas mileage and don't want to have the extra trouble of a twin turbo DOHC.
