2004 Mitsubishi Colt Sport review from UK and Ireland
"Road test on normal (rough) roads before buying"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
On delivery left hand door would not open from inside, rectified at dealer.
Wrong passenger seat fitted -incorrect trim. New seat on order.
General comments?
Sold the car within four months, due to unbearable ride quality, suspension crashing over minor bumps in road.
Loud tyre roar on motorways, both these faults made worse by the fitting of extra low profile 195/45 tyres on the sport model.
Unpleasant course engine, did not liked to be revved, excessive engine noise when cruising, not an ideal motorway car.
Plenty of interior space with ample leg room in rear.
