2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT review from North America
"A great car to own and drive, just needs a little work after a lot of miles"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There's a problem with the relay switch on the car that causes the car to die when the heat or air is turned on. The only way to keep the car from dying (minus fixing the relay) is to keep the RPM's at around 1500.
Only the dash speaker on the car works. All the other speakers are disconnected due to faulty wiring.
The paint is oxidizing rapidly on the car, so while the car should be black, it's got white patches on the rear near the spoiler and along the side fenders.
General comments?
This is a great sports car. Despite the cars faults, I love driving the car. There's a good deal of power from the V6 motor.
The steering is a little loose, but the car handles well enough and is easy to steer if taking a corner fast.
The semi-auto transmission is quick to shift and very smooth. It's also very easy to use. A lot more convenient than a manual transmission. I can drive the car as either/or.
Car is VERY good looking, and with a few mods to the body, the car will be amazing.
