2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Base review from North America
"I really enjoy this car for the price, but it's not for more than 2 people"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No major repairs.
CD player broke, but transferable 5 year warranty covered 100% of the repair costs.
Key replacement $300.
Winter tires $900.
General comments?
Great appearance.
Reliable, Mitsubishi dealership are easy to work with.
Large exterior, need large turning radius.
Small interior, huge dash: small back seat, car only fits 2 comfortably.
Trunk difficult to close/open, trunk light comes on frequently even when it's closed.
Noisy cabin.
Key is expensive to replace, has to be computerized ($300).
Gas guzzler.
Attractive sporty interior, but plastic scratches easily.
