I recently bought a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. everything on it is good it runs strong, and its got good handling the only problem is that it has too many miles. it has about 170K. I'm saving money so I can rebuild my engine, but I was wondering if any one knows if its possible to make my eclipse engine a v-tec.
Sorry. Vtec is Honda. It is near impossible. Throw a turbo kit on the car. Expensive. But very nice.
Your car is already faster then a v-tech don't sweat that. I used to own one and never found a single v-tech that could beat me without a lot of upgrades. and if you want to upgrade just turbo charge it. If you have a the 420A motor (mopar) with a turbo it will be faster then the gst or gsx. stock of course. The best advice I can give you though honest to god sell it as soon as you can get rid of it if you have the 420A you will be pissed when it blows up that motor is a paper weight sell the car or convert it to a 4g63 that's the advice I can give you and I'm sure any real owner would tell you the same thing sell the damn 420A before your in so deep you can't get back out I was into mine for 16K before I got out and I sold it for 850 bucks.
