"Quick, but juicy"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I had only owned the car for about 3 weeks when it started leaking fuel from the fuel injectors

i found out it was the rubber seals around it

Bought new seals from mit dealership costing £65 which is quite a lot for a little rubber

I have now owned the car about 7 weeks and the semi automatic gearbox is playing up and won't let me use first or forth gear so dunno how much that is gonna cost?

Drivers seat has worn on the sides, but still holds me in fine and tappets are a bit loud.

General comments?

I had always wanted an fto, but could never really afford it, but manged to save some money together to get a gpx in black which was the one I wanted

The power low down the revs aint really that good, but once it hits about 5,500rpm it does really start to shif and the noise is incredable

The handling is pretty good for a car of this size and the back just seems to be glue to the road and give you the confidence to really push it

Interior is prety bland considering the looks from the outside, but its all in the right place and in easy reach

Fuel economy is pretty bad on mine even when just cruising in top gear and when you rev it it does go down prety quick so make sure you got a big wallet

if anyone has got any ideas on my gearbox problem can comment or will it be a dealership job?

Disconnect the battery (both leads + and - for an hour then put them back on. the tip gearbox learns your driving style so its still on the last owners profile of driving its worth a try to reset it.

It sounds like you have had some bad luck there, I would not want anyone being put off by these things.

If you are looking to buy one, listen for tappets and don't buy one with noisy ones once it's warm!

Buy a manual if you can find one, it's faster and less to go wrong.

Service, oil and water it, get good rubber and you will love it forever.
