2002 Mitsubishi Galant review from North America
"It's a life saver"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When my father had it, he might have mentioned at one point the oil pan gasket was leaking and had to be replaced.
Nothing else I can recall.
General comments?
This is my father's car. I own a 2003 Nissan Xterra that has a problem with the transmission, but can't afford to fix it right now because of financial problems. I also do not have the money to buy another car. So my dad gave me his car also because he can't drive anymore because of health related issues. He bought it new in 02, and put very little mileage over the years, and has had good luck with it.
I do like this car. It drives nice and has a powerful 4 cylinder engine, and it's cheaper to fill up, which helps my budget.
The car is very inexpensive to take care of. It was already paid off from my dad. I will keep this car as long as I have to until I get back on my feet, then I will give it back to my father if he gets better, and I will probably buy another car. These are one of the cars that are good for this very bad economy we're in now.
