1995 Mitsubishi Galant ES review from North America
"Don't buy for a bargain because the Mitsubishi Galant will end up costing you more than any other!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The paint is already cracking and peeling along with the leather interior. You can also tell where I have been by the oil trail and other leaks I leave behind my car just recently died on my way to work saying it needed oil, but the oil light popped up then it died. Thanks for letting me know. The transmission is slipping, but extra fluid has been able to help that. My air went out at the start of summer and I was told would be about $400 to fix it so with fall coming up and the fact I haven't fixed it yet I won't invest in it. The windows also go really slow and the power locks and windows have been a problem for me.
General comments?
Even with the problem I loved my car. It normally gets me where I need to go and fast also gas mileage is a dream for me with the raising cost of gas. I fill up with $20 once a week and I am done also I travel a lot during that week. I found it comfortable for me and my 6'6 boyfriend never complained about it. I wish Mitsubishi could make it more reliable though I have been lucky though I have heard horror stories about other Galant.
