Irritating... 1300 - 2,500 rpm idle till engine warms up, 1 to 5 minutes? even on a warm summers day. Revs increase when changing gear or just simulating gear change with just the cluch engaged. accelerator return adjusted, choke motor changed.under ongoing rectification.
Clutch pedal pressure can be can be soft or hard for no apparent reason.
Carpet crinkle and shrinkage.

When the car revs while changing gear, the solution is that you should take your foot off the accelerator before you press the clutch pedal. Problem solved!
I have a Lancer myself, and it takes about 5 minutes to warm up, but the major problem for me is the automatic gears change hardly in cold weather till it's warm enough. And please tell me how to keep the auto gears working well.
Well this is not a problem buddy, it's normal. Even my car's manual transmission doesn't shift smoothly until it's warmed up. But if you still want them to shift more smoothly, try to upgrade your transmission - get the best oil suitable for cold weather.
