Hey there...I'm still confused and not yet fully decided... Nativa or Outlander?
30/08/2007 nativa lover. OK I was just reading all the comments about nativa because I'm planning to buy 2008 model which will be available here in UAE in Ramadan, but I don't think that we can compare a fully Japanese car with a Korean car by any means we have to consider the long life span of Japanese compared to corean cars, I wish to hear from a real fair nativa owner an honest advise... ASAP, thanks.
Well, for all those who are confused about owning a Nativa, here's an honest piece of advice from a nativa owner, don't buy it!!no matter how hard you step on the gas it won't accelerate;it consumes too much gas;the interior is very bad. Believe me, my 2001 grand vitara 2.5 6 cyl. is much much better than my 2005 nativa 3.0 6 cyl.
I have shifted from Kuwait to Dubai along with my NATIVA 2006 model. Could any let me know what is the fuel consumption of their NATIVA on Dubai Road conditions (Traffic) with Octan 98.
Regards.
I plan to buy a Nativa.
I want to know the current price of the 2007 in UAE, and the best dealership regarding the post buy customer service.
Can you help?
2007 Nativa Owner only reply with recommendations.
Just Today I bought a 2008 NATIVA, I did not recieve it yet, but I like what I saw, it is from just looking at it is very nice looking and it has very good Departure (27), Approch (32) and Break Over Angles (30) and the ground clearance is (215mm). Also the (500mm) Wading Depth is remarkable, in short that is a very impressive Off-Road Parformance. In addition it has a shift on the fly from 2H to 4H up to 100km per hour of speed.
Lots of storage room and some of them are hidden in the floor.
Go ahead and buy one, I was impressed with all the features the NATIVA has compared with the low price.
For the price this is really great. The color I chose is the Dark Bluish Gray Mica.
We recently purchased a 2008 Nativa in Qatar. We paid $87000 QR. It included sunroof, fog lights, remote entry, 2 year maintenance warranty and lifetime power train warranty. Yes the gas mileage is not the greatest, but gas is 0.80 QR per litre! It costs me 40 QR - about $13 US/CAN to fill it up! I have three kids and they fit in the vehicle nicely. Yes the acceleration is not the greatest and we have noticed high engine revs (high rpms) at 100 km/h. We plan to have this checked at the next service. However, we get great service - usually 20 - 30 minutes for a service. I know Toyota owners who drop off their vehicles and wait DAYS to get it back! Knowing that, for the next two years I will not have another extra expense for my vehicle - everything is covered! I don't think any other dealer can match that! I don't plan to off road very much. I felt I needed a 4x4 here in order to hold my own on the roads of Qatar. The Toyota Fortuner was $6000 QR more - and while a better vehicle - it would have cost me an extra $2000 - $4000 QR in service/maintenance fees over 2 years. There was no comparison. For ME the Nativa was the only choice. That's all I can say. Cheers.
Guys, the only disadvantage of Nativa is it's fuel consumption (8km/litre on city and 10km/litre on highway). But in the Gulf, the fuel is cheaper. Nativa is a reliable & comfortable family car. It is a good offroader too; worth the value. But re-sale value is not as good as Toyota / Nissan SUVs.
I love 4x4's among my collection I have Prado, FJ Cruiser & Nativa, Nativa I own is a 2005 model full options, believe me its better than FJ Cruiser compared to Prado, yes its bit slow. But Nativa has strong body, safety, take it to any desert and it won't ditch you. If talking about fuel and concerned don't buy and 4x4 all are same, in some above comments heard about loose steering, but see its easy for overtaking, parking... there is always a good or bad in any cars.. My comment is I love Nativa...
Nativa had nice appearance, very bad acceleration, and bad servece.
Hi I'm from Fiji and I'm about to buy a Nativa GLS 2.8 turbo diesel Standard for AUD$4,4100. Am I getting a great deal here or a rip off? I don't know much about cars and their cost! Hoping to get some help in making a right choice of car.
Thank you.
Hi, I am from Panama and I am planning to buy the new 3.2 Nativa turbo diesel 2009. Has anyone had any experience with this new model?
I'm looking at a 2004 Nativa 3.0L V6. I know the guy selling it and have known the car since he bought it. He has had no trouble from it. Yes, it's a bit juicy. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had any problems with one off-road.
