1985 Mitsubishi Pajero NB Sports review from Australia and New Zealand

Didn't Pass Blue slip

- Needed New rear shocks due to leakage

- Needed 1 new tyre

- Tape Deck gave in on me

- Steering wheel was perished

- Small amount of surface rust in wheel arches and engine bay.

I replaced the shocks and all suspension with a TJM XGS System giving it 2 inches of Lift and replaced all 5 tyres with Cooper ST's, sanded and primed rust spots.

I managed to score this low mileage SWB pajero from an old gentleman in canberra who had owned it from the salesroom floor in 1985. With such low mileage it was in great condition inside and out. I did a few things to it when it came up short for the Blue Slip inspection.

The XGS and coopers tyres mix make it great off the road, ramp over is awesome and rock climbs are well within its grasp. Although its not a rocket on the road it sure keeps pulling in 4 low up even quite steep parts. Had it climbing at 38 degrees and it was still going, was a bit scary, but it made it.

All around I am very impressed by this car, it may be the fact that it was well kept or that it is just a neat vehicle.

DO NOT DO THE LPG CHANGE, VERY BAD FOR THIS CAR NOT MADE FOR IT AT ALL, PRICES OF FUEL ARE HIGH, but PRICES OF THE ENGINE ARE HIGHER.
