1994 Mitsubishi Shogun GLX review from UK and Ireland
"Great value for money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only problem I had in four years is a leaking water pump
had a few problems on cold mornings starting which was due to worn out glow plugs the set cost only 80 pounds which sorted it.
Brake pads and discs replaced complete exhaust system and new injectors all replaced at 105.000 miles most items just replaced were original equipment so have lasted very well.
General comments?
The press has recently been giving 4x4 in general a lot of bad remarks however since I have owned the shogun it has proved to be a very reliable and practical vehicle. it seats seven in comfort has a host of extras which come as standard a good driving position and for a 2.8 returns 30 mpg on a run.it's a bit juicy around town about 23 mpg I bought the vehicle to tow our caravan which it does in its stride there is no signs of rust anywhere the interior is still as new even though now 12 years old. on the whole an excellent vehicle.
