1993 Mitsubishi Verada ei review from Australia and New Zealand
"If you offered my a new 380 for my Verada I'd tell you where to get stuffed, I love my car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
New trans at 190,000, re con engine at 230000 (due to water pump breaking on 800km trip, but heat gauge remained OK hence didn't notice I was frying my engine), re con alternator 115,000, re con alternator 240,000, new radiator 250,000, new idle motor 180,000.
General comments?
Excellent workhorse has got me all over Oz.
I have added 2.5inch cat back sports system, pacemaker headers, k&n performance air filter (increased size of air intake).
For under $3000 these babies are a steal, I get 10kms per litre on petrol and 9kms per litre on gas. I seriously recommend a verada, they beat the pants of any 6 cylinder commodore or falcon (non turbo) for a few mods.
