Hi, I'm interested to buy a Naza Citra... but from the comments I read in this forum, lots of Citra owners are facing a radiator problem.. I'm just wondering, is it the radiator problem only occurs on 2006 model? Is the 2009 model is safe and worth buying?

There is some improvement for the radiator for Citra models later than 2008. So get a model after 2008, then you can save many problems.

Hi all...

I just bought the Citra GS 2009 model with a wonderful offer.

Just pay for RM61900... you may own a brand new MPV car.

I knew the petrol consumption is a bit high... but please...

For a car that costs you only RM79K (normal price), which at least 20K cheaper that other same range cars... you know, for the 20K petrol (FREE) how far more you can go... don't always talk that high fuel consumption... it is a 2000cc car... don't compare to a 1.3 or 1.5 or 1.6 or 1.8...

The important thing is whether the car is good in driving & safe or not...

Is it OK to buy a Citra GS now?

Because the new model of Citra II has been released.

Can any of you tell me if the service charges of Naza workshops for the Citra are kinda high?

I heard some owners complain about the maintenance service costs being too high, like at RM300 per time.

For your info.. maintenance cost around RM250-RM300 is for 6 month or 10000km... only at major service a bit high.

I've booked for a Citra GS since 31 March after the RS 'went out of stock', and am still waiting for the car. Had even signed the agreement with the bank for loan but no definite answer from Naza when the car will arrive. Anyone facing the same problem?

Heard that they are also coming up with 'face lifted' versions.

I'm planning to get the 2009 new face lift model.., but there are a lot of negative feedback from the Citra car owners and friends! I'm wondering is it only for the previous models only!

How about the latest models? Did Naza did any improvement on the engine or radiator problems?

I agree with some feedback about the reasonable high fuel consumption, 2000cc car, right!

Hope someone can really give me some suggestion, please!

Don`t buy the Naza Citra... after sales service is bad... I`ve experienced a lot of major problems with my Naza Citra.. especially the radiator, engine sensor faulty, burning smell comes out from the air conditioning system and lots of minor problems. During 2 yrs of using the car, for approximately 100 days the car was grounded in the Naza workshop, and surprisingly, they were unable to detect where the burning smells comes from... even their engineers from Korea also failed to solve the problem. Then the Naza management started blaming each other, and refused to solve or even talk to the car owner when the warranty expired.

Why Naza repeat the mistake that Proton had done.. looked at Proton now, what happened to them? I'm really not satisfy with my Naza Citra.. with radiator problem again and again.. Why is no action taken to solve this problem?

I bought my Citra in Sept 06...and the problem with this car is radiator leaking... but have already changed new under warranty; air-conditioning compressor, bearing noisy, smell from outside via air conditioning. Even put it in circulation mode... for me it's not too bad, consider it 95% good.

I've owned a Citra manufactured Y06, but bought it only in April 07.

Of course the radiator is one of the problems that I had fixed while still under warranty.

Now my mileage has reached 52000KM, where I faced with another big issue! Engine sensor faulty. I just replaced it one month ago and now the incident has happened again.

While you're driving, suddenly you feel a change of gear (like from gear 4 suddenly to a lower gear) you will experience a hard blown. And after that the car starts showing problem. You will feel that your car has no power, even when you press the pedal. And then you feel that the gear cannot shift at all. You need to stop and restart your engine, and eventually it will be OK again. But somehow it will come again later.

Do anyone of you face the same problem, and what is the root cause of it?

Am I making the right decision? I have just booked Naza Citra and will be deliver in mid of November 2009. After I read the comments, it seems that more than 50% of Citra owner are not happy, especially the unknown problem and radiator leaking, look like never ending story. I THINK I'm GOING TO CANCEL MY BOOKING. Don't know they going to charge me for cancellation or not.
