1995 Nissan 200SX SE review from North America

1) Recurring Problem with the A/C sensor... when the car runs hot and the AC is on the car idles low... then dies. It happened every summer for first 4 years.. had it replaced 4 times. But still under warranty (even the 4th one because I showed them the history).

The front driver seat wears quickly. I had to put a carseat covers to preserve them.

Only AT 5 years old and 100,000 miles, I replaced:

1) Alternator

2) Starter

3) Left/Front CV Boot

4) 3 simultaneous oil leaks

5) Transmission Leaks

6) at 80,000 miles the 1-2-3 knobs of the Airconditioner stopped working, but 4 does. So it's no airconditioning or high blasting.

JUST SO YOU KNOW, THE 95-96 NISSAN 200SX IS NOTORIOUS FOR HAVING A NOT SO QUICK DEFROSTER, THE TRICK IS TO TURN ON THE DEFROSTER HI, TURN THE HEAT DIAL TO HOTTEST, THEN TURN ON THE A/C...THEN IT WORKS WELL.

This car feels good to drive, luxury on the inside, looks best with a spoiler, I simply changed the fluids when I needed to and it only needed big repairs (see above) when it was already over 100,000 miles, except for that AC sensor problem.

When shopping for a car, I compared it to its competitors the Toyota Corrolla & Tercel, Honda Civic, etc. And for it's price, I had better luxury interior, Power-everything, a Spoiler (tail), and a sliding sun roof/moon roof. And it still gets about 32 miles to the gallon.

I love my car!
