1990 Nissan 240SX review from North America
"I've had many cars and this is one of my favourite!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch fan wore out causing the A/C to overheat.
Motor has a tick noise until it's warm.
Frame over the right rear axle rusting through.
Rear disc splash guards rusted off.
General comments?
My car has been a great car and although there were some little problems it's doing very well for an 11 year old car that I drive fairly hard at times.
It has been driven in the winter by the previous owner which contributed to the small hole in the frame, that will be easily fixed by the way, but the car has the original paint and it still looks awesome!!!
The car handles excellent and the ride is firm but smooth, the only thing I don't really like are the confining seats when on a trip. I tend to get a back ache after driving a fair distance.
I put Cooper Cobra 60's on the car, they make the car hug the road like it was part of it. These tires are a bit softer and will wear faster, but are well worth it and it even performs well in wet conditions.
