1995 Nissan 240SX 2 door coupe review from North America
"The greatest creation to the automotive industry"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The water pump failed at 110,000 miles.
The clutch blew at 130,000 miles.
The power steering creates noise.
General comments?
The 240sx is a great car to drive. The torque creates a quick acceleration, but the lack of top end power keeps the 240sx to be a contender to the other cars only at lower speeds.
The top speed when the fifth gear rev-limiter kicks in is 115mph. this creates a problem when racing against a prelude or an integra. But the 240sx has no worthy competitors when it comes to sharp turns.
I have taken 25mph turns at 70mph. And that is without any suspension performance parts added.
The interior of the 240 is very pleasing to the eye. the gauge cluster has a great setup.
The front seats are extremely comftirble. The rear seats on the other hand should be used for a grocery self instead of seats.
The body lines on the 240sx are intoxicating and beautiful.
