General comments?
Beautiful car. Car was rusted and needed a lot of help. Toyota dealership had all rust, dents, everything removed and included new fenders and everything, repainted, looks new. People often guess what year the car is and guess 2001 etc. It is way ahead of its age and has been very reliable despite the things that have gone wrong.
The car is quick, but not a real competitor if that is what you are looking for. Would recommend getting a 91 and up just to get the DOHC version. More power and better gas mileage. Also heard of less problems with the KA24DE. If you want a serious competitor, the SR20DET swaps right in and has much more potential for serious power.
If you have winter conditions, you are absolutely going to need winter tires. RWD + all season + snow just doesn't mix to well.
Feels great to drive, everything you need is right there in good places so you don't have to fiddle with dials and what not.
Excellent vehicle, I will not give it up for a very long time.
