1989 Nissan 240SX review from North America
"Ahead of its' time.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch went at 8 years and again at 16, not bad.
Seats are good, but the edges on the driver from getting in/out are crushed.
Back seat belts are useless, but back seat really isn't made for passengers.
Can only carry one passenger in back long distance.
Headlights are exposed and get broken easily always carry a spare bulb.
General comments?
Pick-up, acceleration are great.
Drives defensively as it can stop on a dime or accelerates and steers out of numerous situations.
Love the coupe style feel and clean dash detail and the sunroof.
Purchased originally in 1989 as it was truly 'Form Follows Function'. No detail was superfluous.
Clean lines and Champagne Gold colour easy to keep clean and looking sharp.
