1993 Nissan 240SX limited edition review from North America
"The car is good looking and fun to drive."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission was rebuilt at 118,000 miles.
The fuel injection system also failed at 118,000 miles.
I replaced the starter motor at 130,000 miles.
General comments?
The appearance of this convertible with the top down still gets positive comments at the dealership and around town. I recently found a note under the windshield wiper that said, "When you decide to sell, call me first" (accompanied by a name and phone number).
Overall, the car is fun to drive, but it could use more power. Unfortunately the only transmission available was an automatic.
The car has a mellow exhaust note (stock system) and
is relatively comfortable on long trips.
Average gas mileage is a bit disappointing at around 22 to 24 mpg, but the car is driven hard.
