"Fast!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Vibration at 40 mph.

Squeaky shocks (they sat up for 9 years).

Front air spoiler got torn off because it is so low to the ground.

General comments?

I really like this car. It will out-run just about anything on the road. Corners really well. Fun to drive car. Turns heads. Everybody wants a ride.

It is in immaculate condition. Great car considering that I am 16 years old and it is my first car.

What sort of fool parents allow a 16 year old to drive a 3litre twin turbo!!! That's one of the most stupid things I've ever heard of.

I am also 16 years old and my dad bought me a N/A 300zx 2+2

and I love it. I have altered my car with performance exhaust and the power is magnificent. No teenager around can touch me.

300ZX are not the quickest cars on the road, I had one next to a Stealth R/T TT and the Stealth blew it away. No Upgrades to either.

300 will kill a stealth. Supra will kill them all.

Just joking they are all fast cars for a six.

I beat the 2+2 version N/A version in my Pontiac Grand PRix GT. although a supra would beat my car easily I don't think a stealth could if my car was the gtp. which has the supercharger on it.

Gtp wouldn't come close to either the 300 or the stealth. stealth beats the 300 of the mark because of awd. makes it heavier.300 would destroy from a rolling start.

First off it depends which 300 it is. this person obviously beat the naturally aspirated version not the twin turbo. plus the 300 has no low end torque whatsoever. it is terrible off the line. american cars are known for having nice low end torque off the line.

RE: Comment made 11th Sept 2002, 09:59.

The 2+2 only comes with a NA engine and has 200hp stock on the 5sp (it looses 15-20hp with an automatic). 2+2 refers to the seating, two seats in front and two (very small) seats in rear. The 2+2 is slightly longer than the 2+0 and the easiest way to pick it out from a 2+0 NA is the location of the fuel cap behind the drivers side rear wheel.

Other general information on the 90+ 300zx can be found at http://www.twinturbo.net.
