1991 Nissan 300ZX 2 plus 2 review from North America
"If polished, this car will catch a lot of eyes"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the fuel injectors due to age. Expect to pay $1500. for the service.
The stock radiator is topped with a plastic cap over its entire length. It was replaced when it blew with a full metal radiator. When you do this, switch out the water pump and timing belt.
The low clearance can cause damage to the drive shaft, so check for vibrations at high speed.
The front air dam gets knocked by parking blocks.
General comments?
Despite that this car is not a turbo, it has plenty of kick. I recommend the full Borla exhaust system for an incredible growl.
This car is most comfortable at 80mph.
Be prepared for rather high-cost routine service calls, but it will treat you well if you take care of it.
