"The car was weak, really not much power for a sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I'm glad I bought a extended warranty, it really paid off. During the 5 year warranty these things were fixed or replaced:
rack and pinion steering, automatic transmission, head gasket, air conditioning compressor, the digital dashboard, (this was not covered under my extended warranty even though the sales lady who sold me on the extra warranty mentioned it would be covered during her sales pitch.)
General comments?
The really bad thing that happened was the engine fire at 63000 miles.
When I had it towed to a Nissan dealer for repairs ($2600.), I found out that nissan had a fuel injector overhaul campaign going. Too bad they never sent me a notice, and Nissan refused to pay for the fire damage. They did do the fuel injectors for free, however we were lucky to survive the fire.
