Difficult to pass emissions.
Transmission syncros are out a bit and it sometimes grinds gears.
Seats are uncomfortable, replaced with super firm and comfortable Celica seats.
If I had to replace seats again I'd go with Mazda 626 seats because of narrower, Nissan-like rails.
Marginal gas mileage.
Heater doesn't blow too strong.
I really like this truck, I bought it for $400 and haven't put anything into it other than routine maintenance and the new seats. I'm going to put a suspension lift on this summer and bigger tires as well as rancho shocks and torsion bars.
Stock it can 4 wheel pretty good.
I have a 1984 Nissan 720 king cab pick-up with the five speed and just cranked the torsion bars and put shackles on the rear to lift it. I was wondeing if there was any way to get more lift out of twisting the torsion bars, because I did not get very much.
