2003 Nissan Almera S review from UK and Ireland
"Faulty timing chain makes the Nissan Almera dangerous"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Headlights melted: this was recalled and fixed for free.
Timing chain stretched, which caused the engine to stall without any warning and not start. It's faulty a RENAULT part that takes 4 hours to fix and £900-£1000 to fix.
General comments?
I like the space and the dashboard, but I think it's a death trap due to the faulty RENAULT timing chain, which Nissan are still refusing to fix.
