2002 Nissan Altima S review from North America
"The dealer has not been responsive to any of my complaints. Each time I brought the car in he made c"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ignition/Starter faulty due to electrical or "coding" problem, three times in last three years causing failure to start.
Engine seized at 83,000 miles.
Struts and shocks needed replacing at 53,000 miles.
Loud knocking noise coming from rear under car, not identified yet, has been happening for past year and a half, has not been eliminated with each repair suspected of being the problem.
Heater and a/c broken - only now functioning due to person who rebuilt engine gluing wire and instructing me to only turn vent on half way.
General comments?
This car has been nothing, but headaches and from the start.
I love the look of the car and handling is great with the exception of rough ride, feeling every bump in the road.
