2009 Nissan Altima Coupe S review from North America

Nothing has gone wrong with the car.

I've had the car for over 7 months and it still feels brand new.

I got it in October 08, and being from Ottawa, it did great in the snow. Never got stuck anywhere, and almost never had any wheel spin (unless I floored it).

The two cars that I compared were the Honda Accord 2dr. & Altima Coupe, and while the Accord is a great car, the Altima's styling won me over.

The CVT is also great, it can tell when you are driving more aggressively, and if you want a little more fun you can put it in manual mode. The good thing about this manual mode is that it will let you rev. the engine, and won't change "gears" unless you do it.

The gas consumption is also great, I'm averaging 8.5L/100km, and this is 99% city driving. On a trip to Toronto & Montreal, I've had this down to 6.5L/100km. It's no Prius, but it's exceptionally good for a car this size and sporty.

Mechanically the car is FLAWLESS. The only thing that I've noticed (because no car is perfect) is that there is a little bit of squeaking noise close to the sunroof (when open), and the steering wheel also has a little bit of squeaking. It's very minor, however it's worth mentioning.

All in all, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.
